Event date: to manage data retention and automatic deletion after 12 months

Audio data

Voice messages: recorded by your guests through the web recording page
Sender names: voluntarily provided by your guests
Metadata: duration, format and size of audio files

Photo data

Keepsake photos: optionally added by guests when the photo option is active
Message association: a photo may be linked to the corresponding voice message
Technical metadata: including file format and size where required for the operation of the service

Technical information

Usage data: to improve the service
Purchase information: selected plan and payment status

3. How we use your data

We use your data only to:

Provide the Wedding Audio service
Manage your account, plan and purchases
Store and organize your voice messages and, when the photo option is active, any associated photos
Contact you for technical support
Comply with our legal obligations

Important: We never sell your personal data to third parties. Your voice messages and photos are not used for advertising purposes. Any advertising processing related to Google Ads concerns browsing data and is subject to your consent.

4. Storage and security

Hosting

The website is delivered through Vercel. Wedding Audio also uses Firebase / Google Cloud for technical functions such as authentication, database services and storage of voice messages and, when the photo option is active, associated images. These providers apply technical security measures, including encryption in transit and, depending on the service, at rest.

Retention period

Voice messages: up to 12 months from your event date
Associated photos: the same retention period as the voice message they are linked to
Account information: until your account is deleted, subject to applicable legal obligations
Payment and purchase data: retained for the periods required by legal and accounting obligations

Automatic deletion

Your voice messages and associated photos are automatically deleted at the end of their retention period, in particular 12 months from your event date for guestbook content.

Under the GDPR, you have the following rights:

Right of access: to access your personal data
Right to rectification: to correct your information
Right to erasure: to request deletion of your personal data, subject to applicable legal obligations
Right to data portability: to retrieve your voice messages and, when the photo option is active, associated photos
